Marilena Perilli has enjoyed working as an illustrator for over 15 years. Her work has appeared across multiple platforms, and enlisted by several major companies to assist with their illustration needs- working in both traditional mediums such as gouache and digitally. She has designed dinnerware for Fishs Eddy, illustrated books for Penguin, Harper Collins, Sterling, St. Martin’s Press, as well as columns for The New York Times and Baltimore Magazine. Marilena also established the look for a national junior fashion line called Necessary Objects and licensing companies such as the Bonnie Marcus Collection. She has also worked in advertising, creating a storybook for a nationally aired Geico commercial parodying Little Miss Muffet. Presently, Marilena is working to help develop the look for a travel website with a fashion edge along with illustrating a Golden Book for Nickelodeon. She lives in NYC with her husband, two small boys, and their Standard Poodle Lola.
